A/N2: Nexus is AU. In the Nexusverse, as in canon, the gang at AI de–souled Angel to get information about some big demon guy. However, in our story, there´s no Connor, and therefore no possessed evil pregnant mominatrix!Cordelia. It seems entirely logical to me that Angelus, having access to Angel´s memories, would simply open the safe and destroy the bottle containing his soul before leaving the hotel. And so we proceed.

Note: For those of you who are hard–core slashers, chapters 1 through 25 of Nexus can stand alone. The epilogue is mostly about resolving the secondary Spuffy story. You´ve been warned.
